JELL-O Funpocalypse

JELL-O SACRIFICE
2012 MAYAN APOCALYPSE

on 12.21.12, the mayans predicted the world would end. To Save us from a terrible death, Jell-o wanted to help. In lieu of traditional, boring vegetable offerings to the Mayan gods, JELL-O offered a fun sacrifice of pudding. These spots were featured by the new york times, ad week, mashable and many more publications.

As a follow up spot after 12.21.12 when the world proved to still be in tact, JELL-O ran this spot to ensure everyone knew that this product saved mankind.

In order to promote this concept, I illustrated hand made art to feel as if it was sent straight from the Mayans themselves. JELL-O also checked in to the Mayan pyramid, and we had a ground crew promoting at Times Square.

Intended to feel like civilians were convinced JELL-O was going to save them, we created sandwich boards and flyers for a ground crew to hand out in Times Square.
