P.ink
P.ink (Personal Ink) is a non-profit that connects breast cancer survivors with tattoo artists in order to offer a more personal way of helping them heal.
P.ink began in 2013, when 9 CP+B employees volunteered to help develop the brand.

P.ink began by creating a space on Pinterest that allowed survivors to find inspiration.

We had so many people reaching out on our Pinterest comments for help, that we decided to help facilitate an event for the survivors and tattoo artists.
We raised money on IndieGoGo to fly 10 survivors to Saved Tattoo in NYC to host our first event. P.ink Day was born in 2013 at one tattoo shop in Brooklyn, NY.
After the event, we built an official site to share the story so that other women could be inspired and we could find volunteers to expand in other cities.

We also created an easy app that allows survivors to design their own tattoo and find an artist to work with.

With the help of volunteers all over the country, we expanded.

The initiative got coverage, which help expanded our reach for volunteers and support.

After working to build the national brand, I started my own chapter in Portland, Or.
